New! Sun-style tai chi is a modern form known for flowing movements and gentle postures. Refine the traditional Sun-style tai chi form and learn fundamental trainings and techniques of major Chinese internal martial arts including Xingyiquan (Hsing Yi), Baguazhang (Pa Kua) and Yiquan system. Select this advanced-level course if you are experienced with the movements and practice of the Sun form and have previously taken tai chi classes at the Garden. About your class location: Class locations vary between spaces in the Regenstein Center according to the season, weather, and availability. Spaces include two indoor rooms: Burnstein Hall and Nichols Hall, and the outdoor, covered, McGinley Pavilion. Semesters starting in January and April both feature indoor classes only. Classes in the semester beginning in May will be held outdoors whenever possible. Dress for the weather.
