Adult Ed Tai Chi

Yang-style tai chi is a beautiful, slow-moving meditation in motion. Move through a selection from the 24 forms and some qi gong. Class level is best for students new to tai chi or the Yang form, or if you would like to refresh your practice. Class locations vary between spaces in the Regenstein Center according to the season, weather, and availability. Spaces include two indoor rooms: Burnstein Hall and Nichols Hall, and the outdoor, covered, McGinley Pavilion. Classes held from May through September will occur outdoors whenever possible. Dress for the weather. Classes held from October through April feature indoor classes only. 

  • 6 Wednesdays, April 2 – May 7, 8 – 9 a.m. or
  • 6 Thursdays, April 3 – May 8, 8 – 9 a.m. or
  • 6 Wednesdays, May 14 – June 25, 8 – 9 a.m. (no class June 4) or
  • 6 Thursdays, May 15 – June 26, 8 – 9 a.m. (no class June 5) or
  • 9 Wednesdays, July 9 – September 10, 8 – 9 a.m. (no class August 13) or
  • 9 Thursdays, July 10 – September 11, 8 – 9 a.m. (no class August 14) or
  • 8 Wednesdays, October 8 – December 10, 8 – 9 a.m. (no class November 5 & 26) or
  • 8 Thursdays, October 9 – December 11, 8 – 9 a.m. (no class November 6 & 27)
